Educational background:
I graduated from East Carolina University (a FIDER accredited University) in 2005 with a four year degree in Interior Design.
Career background:
I worked in the commercial interior design industry for my first year out of college, but I enjoy the client interaction aspect that goes along with designing kitchens and baths. I began my career as a kitchen and bath designer at the start of 2006 and I haven’t looked back since!
How long you have lived in the Triangle:
I moved to the Cary area from Colorado in 1994, and I am now officially a beach bum!
Design philosophy:
“The kitchen is the room in the house that gets the biggest workout, but that does not mean it can’t be stylish and useful.”
Favorite part of the job process:
I enjoy looking at the before and after photos at the conclusion of a remodel. It shows that all the hard work and time everyone put in to the job was worth it. I also enjoy seeing the look on each client’s face when they see the results, it’s priceless!
Outside interests/hobbies:
My husband and I love to travel. Whether we get in the car with our dog and head to the beach, or get on an airplane and disappear for a week

Educational background:
I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design. While studying there, I obtained an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) certification through the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).
Design philosophy:
Designing is like putting together a puzzle; all the pieces must fit for the picture to be complete.
Favorite project/kind of project:
My favorite projects are the happy, creative, timeless ones that make a house a home.
Favorite part of the job process:
Developing a relationship with the client, exceeding expectations, and seeing their ideas come to life.
Outside interests/hobbies:
I enjoy cooking, Art, traveling, and being with friends and family.

Caroline Redding - Sales & Design
Educational background:
I graduated from East Carolina University with a BFA in Textile Design and a minor in Environmental Design.
Career background:
Teacher, construction project manager, artist, shop owner, real estate agent, furniture salesperson, bartender, interior designer.
How you became interested in kitchen/bath design:
I taught interior design at Cape Fear Community College & assigned my students a “green kitchen” project. I realized then that I’d rather be using my ideas rather than talking about them.
Design philosophy:
If it’s not broke, donate it to Habitat & put something fabulous in its place.
Favorite project/kind of project:
One that is challenging, that requires creative thinking.
Why you love K&B Galleries:
Because I get to work with Steve Barker!
